Party Planners Turning to Photo Booths
As you head to your office holiday party this month, you may feel a bit of nostalgia for the days when Christmas parties were held in the office during the workday. They were relaxed and casual and all about having a good time with coworkers. Today’s corporate celebrations are so far removed from those events that it’s hard to believe the one gave birth to the other.
Because today’s parties are more likely to be held at glamorous restaurants, clubs, and other special locations, they require workers to dress up and observe a stricter set of etiquette rules. This has led many corporate party planners to resort to finding original ways to get party goers to loosen up and actually enjoy themselves. The dreaded corporate party can become a memorable and fun event by including a novelty like a party photo booth .
Many guests will remember that the event is work-related and try to remain formal when stepping into a booth. However, most will be reminded of the times they used a photo booth as a kid, and before too long there will be strips of silly pictures being passed around and people lined up to get in front of the camera. While it’s highly unlikely that workers will resort to obscene or inappropriate behavior, planners are betting on the fact that they will relax and, ultimately, have a good time.

Thanks for posting this article! My husband and I own a photo booth company in Kansas City and we’re always looking for great articles to link to from our blog. We did some company holiday parties last month and they were a blast! It was really fun to see everyone bonding and laughing with one another in a setting outside of the office.
