San Diego Padres Equals Fun in the Sun

July 26, 2010

Petco stadium in San Diego is beautiful and is home to the National League Champions of 1998, the San Diego Padres professional baseball club. If you visit San Diego from March to October and don’t go to see one of their games, you’re truly missing out on one of the best parts of San Diego.

A summer’s day in San Diego is only complete after a fun outing to watch the home team. The ballpark blends a rustic, classic, old factory into the line of play along with beautiful glistening buildings in the background. They really make it feel like you’re in Southern California. If you’re a visitor staying at a San Diego luxury hotel , and you don’t have tickets, grab a blanket from your room and lay down in the elevated park in centerfield to watch the game for free, there’s nothing better, except being inside the ballpark.

All the seating in the San Diego Padre’s ballpark offers great sightlines. Just beyond the outfield fence, the Padres built a mini baseball diamond for children to play. So, whether you’re hanging out with old friends, or just visiting, this ballpark is designed for everyone to kick back, relax, take in the beautiful ballpark, breath in the sea air and watch as the Padres play hard to win. By-the-way, if you’re 21 and older, stop by the bars up and down 5th Avenue located around the corner from the stadium after the game.
